The Flight of Love: The tale of Psyche and Eros (mind/soul and love) is probably in my top 3 Greek myths. When reading the story, it is delightfully tempting to allegorise their narrative, but RESIST! It's a good enough tale on its own. In this scene, when Psyche lays eyes on Eros for the first time, he flees (when soul saw love, love fled....). Their story does not end there at all, as I'm sure you lovers of myth know. - Niki McQueen
