Some works I want to make, other works I have to make. If I don’t make the works I have to make, I cannot make the works I want to make. It’s been a very long time since I made a self portrait, and this one was a had-to-make. It’s about old hurts, retraumatization in abuse, and my experience of complete depersonalization.
