NOTES:
Have you ever been forced into a situation where you had to do or endure something shameful you didn’t consent to? Where you found yourself dissociating? Severing your self and putting it somewhere safe?
I have a feeling that we all have at some point. I think that feeling is the closest I can come to describing what this work is about for me. I wonder sometimes how much of my severed self has come back and how much cowers still, safe in the void.
