I apologise that this letter comes a little late. After taking a much-needed break in October, I was laid low by a lurgy last week, and writing newlsletters was shifted to the bottom of the pile, along with everything else, but sleep.

OCTOBER NEWS...
I only have one featured work to show you for last month, which is called SHOWING HEART. I started the work and shortly afterwards was contacted by Amanda Palmer about creating a poster for her selection of intimate shows on a solo tour she's doing in the USA over the remainder of this year. We agreed the piece I had started was the perfect artwork for the tour (more on this below). It's 15x22" on 300gsm Fabriano Artistico, and is still available for sale. I have made 30 limited-edition canvas prints available here (SA buyers please contact me directly).

COMING UP...
The only piece I have worked on this month was a collaboration with Amanda, for an upcoming surprise from The Dresden Dolls. I will share it with you when it is released to the public.

Holiday goodies...
I released a range of all-over-print garments a few months ago (for overseas fans), featuring the Keeper of Light. A couple of people expressed that they would love them if they were in cotton (the first range were spandex and polyester blend), and for all of you who felt similarly, I am happy to say...they are now available in cotton variants (see below)!

Other than that, being on a break, I have not done an all-out holiday push in the Etsy store, but I am offering subscribers and repeat-buyers a 20% discount on all original artwork and signed prints until 15 December, and will be running specials in my Etsy store. HEALING AND HOPEFUL...
I have two special commissions for people near and dear to me, I am currently busy with. I am still technically on a break (digital, physical, mental and psychological), so I'm taking things slowly and stopping to smell the flowers more often, meditate in the garden, and focus on my health.
|
I started a water-based practice called Watsu with my physio last month, and nothing, ever, has had such a healing impact on my life, in calming my nervous system, and reconnecting me with a body I felt unsafe in. I have not walked with my cane for nearly 3 weeks now, and I am filled with hope and gratitude.
|
Thank you always for your continued support. I hope you are as well as you can be...I think we all get a bit weary toward this time of year, when the end is in sight and its been a long, hard and difficult year for many of us.

Last month, I launched the first of three calendars for next year in my ETSY STORE. This one is called THE DARK ONES, and it features some of my favourite dark works...It comes in A3 and A4 sizes. International buyers can get it here.

SA BUYERS:
The posters and items in my Etsy store are specifically aimed at my overseas market and the costs of shipping to South Africa are generally prohibitive. BUT.... they ARE available here, should you wish to order them! I have been liaising with print suppliers, and I can offer most of these items at local pricing if you are interested.

They are all signed Giclee prints on Felix Schoeller True Fibre Matt, 200gsm archival cotton paper. Sizes range from 10 x 12″ to 16 × 20″ and prices between $36 and $75 (local shipping = $13). Prints will be shipped within the USA only.
